Sherilyn Houle
Dr. Houle received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Saskatchewan, and her PhD from the Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Pharmacy, University of Waterloo, where her research and teaching interests are focused on the pharmacist's role as a patient care provider and the clinical and economic outcomes achieved through pharmacist-provided services such as prescribing, administering injections, and providing pre-travel advice and consultations.
She has experience in practice as a pharmacist in hospital, home care, and community pharmacy settings, and currently practices at the International Travel and Immunization Clinic at the Centre for Family Medicine in Kitchener, Ontario. In 2018 she received her Certificate in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine.
