Robin Humble
Robin Humble, MPH, is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta, with a research focus on determinants of vaccination. Since 2014, she has been a faculty member in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Camosun College, Victoria, British Columbia. Her clinical background is in oncology, women’s surgery, and public health services across diverse international settings and populations. Research experience includes determinants of COVID-19 vaccination for parents and their children, and among newcomer and racialized peoples, routine childhood vaccination, child health, epidemiology, and nursing student practice. Her current research focuses on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected parents’ perceptions and acceptance of routine childhood vaccines and creating inclusive and accessible immunization services among underserved populations.
