Jeff Kwong
Jeff Kwong is a Senior Scientist at ICES, a Scientist at Public Health Ontario, a Family Physician at the Toronto Western Family Health Team, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto. After obtaining his Bachelors degree in Microbiology & Immunology at McGill University, he completed his MD, postgraduate training in Public Health and Preventive Medicine, and a Masters degree in Epidemiology in the Graduate Department of Public Health Sciences, all at the University of Toronto. As a Clinician-Scientist, he practices as a family physician one day per week and devotes the rest of his time to research and teaching at the interface between primary care and public health. His research interests include infectious diseases epidemiologic research using large linkable databases, influenza vaccine and vaccination program evaluation, and assessing the health and economic burden of infectious diseases.
