Devon Greyson
Devon Greyson studies the interactions between public health information interventions and the ways people use information in their everyday lives. A social scientist, Dr. Greyson has led and collaborated on a variety of studies about vaccine hesitancy and confidence, including ethnographic investigations of undervaccinated communities, qualitative work with health care providers and vaccine hesitant parents, and surveys about immunization policy, practices, and intentions. Current work focuses on barriers and facilitators to vaccination in pregnancy, childhood and adolescence. Following completion of an interdisciplinary PhD at the University of British Columbia and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Vaccine Evaluation Center at the BC Children's Hospital, Devon now works at the University of Massachusetts.
