"In this session, Dr. Taddio speaks about CARD in hopes that it can be useful to help prepare for COVID-19 vaccination delivery for children and for integrating the current evidence in all vaccination settings. By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss the rationale for treating pain, fear and associated immunization stress-related responses.
  2. Identify and explain evidence-based interventions for mitigating stress-related responses.
  3. Identify ways to incorporate interventions into the vaccination delivery process to improve the vaccination experience for patients." - Learning to Play Your CARDs: The childhood vaccination experience
