Defining COVID-19 Vaccination Priority Groups
Organization: University of Toronto Joint Centre for BioethicsPublished: 2020
"A panel discussion on the ethical, equity, and implementation considerations that influence the definition of vaccine priority groups. What priorities do decision-makers balance when creating vaccine prioritization guidelines? What ethical considerations are made when allocating scarce medical resources? How can public health decision-makers ensure that diverse perspectives are included in these discussions, and that equity is centered both in the development of these guidelines, and in the allocation of the resources needed to tackle COVID-19? This panel discussion will bring together experts to discuss key ethical and equity considerations in developing vaccine prioritization guidelines, during the COVID-19 pandemic." - Defining COVID-19 Vaccination Priority Groups
